Irrelevancy II

This work employs stark contrasts and layered textures to evoke the quiet indifference that governs our social life. Despite moving through crowded spaces, we rarely register the faces around us, let alone pause to empathize with the states they embody.
This ingrained detachment has become so normalized that the irrelevance of others outside our immediate circles no longer strikes us as unusual.
In the composition, faces emerge subtly from the surface, compelling the viewer to look closely; only through deliberate attention do their identities reveal themselves.
